Hybrids of zinnia produce a floral firework display consisting of brilliant warm hues of red, pink, orange, and yellow.  The flowers are composed of shoot like petals which leads the viewer to believe that this is really a display of fireworks.  The spindly globes are contrasted in texture by the broad pointed geometric forms of the leaves whose green colors provide a visual syncopation for the vibrant flower fireballs.

This image was captured in the rain in British Columbia.This picture is approximately 15 inches by 19 inches, printed by hand on Kodak Ektacolor professional paper.  The print is available in a matted format of 20 by 24 inches and is signed on the back.
