A wooden bridge gracefully arches over calm waters as an assortment of
conifers and desiduous trees look on. The scene speaks of serenity
and spitiuality that is typical of gardens in the Japanese style.
It is easy to imagine oneself being pulled into this scene, to while away
some hours in quiet meditation, and to afterwards leave at peace with oneself.
The image possess an interesting co-existance of natural and man-made forms,
it would not be obvious which was which if we didn't know that bridges
were made by man. The spherical clusters of branches in the near
by pine trees seem to provide a model for the curved surfaces of the bridge.
